The Marvel Cinematic Universe releases film roster for 2021. For the first time, ever in Marvel movie collection history, four movies are released in the same year. Undoubtedly, Covid-19 is responsible. Movie theater sales felt the effects of shutdowns and executive stay at home orders as a decline. Now places are opening for consumers. As a result, this could mean a big spike for Marvel sales. For Now, fans are buzzing with excitement over the new content.
What Marvel films are being released in 2021?
1.Black Widow
Black Widow releases July 9, 2021. The film can be watched on Disney + Premier and in Theaters. Directed by Kevin Feige. Scarlett Johansson reprises her role as Natasha Romanoff. Here, she confronts a conspiracy that is connected her past. Could it be that she is not the only Black Widow? Red Guardian (David Harbour) makes an appearance. Also staring Rachel Weisz.
2. Shang-Chi and the 10 Rings
Shang-Chi releases on September 3. Staring Simu Liu, it revolves around a martial artist confronting the 10 rings organization. Sound familiar? It should. The organization was shown in both Iron Man and Ant-Man. Also stars Tomy Leung , Awkwafina, Michelle Yeoh, Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Forian Munteau, and Ronny Chien.
3.Eternals
The release date is November 5, 2021. Eternals is directed by Chloe Zhao. It takes place in present-day and after the events transpired in Avengers’ Endgame. Another reason, Eternals ties to Endgame is because Thanos was an Eternal. The Eternals are powerful immortal beings who battle the Deviants. Notable stars include Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Brian Tyree Henry, Laren Ridlof, Don Lee, Kumail Nanjiani, Kit Harington, Gemma Chan, Lia McHugh, and Barry Keoghan.
4.Spider-man No Way Home
No Way Home hits theaters on December 17, 2021. Starring Tom Holland and Zenadya and directed by Jon Watts. Spider-man is on the run after his identity is exposed. The Spiderverse is explored with many cameos and reprisals. Jamie Foxx reprises role as Electro. Alfred Molina reprises role as Doc Oct. In light of the Spiderverse, there are rumors that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield may return as well as their respective love interests, MJ and Gwen Stacy. It is worth noting, cameos include Charlie Cox as daredevil and Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange.
