    Star Wars-Return of the Nostalgia?

    Potential Star Wars Rebrand

Star Wars as a brand has slowly lost its way these past few years. If you grew up in a certain time, some of the things you probably did after school were watching the Star Wars VHS tapes. Or you played Battlefront on the PS2. As of late however, the recent movies and games that have come out have just seemed like money grabs instead of a good story.

    The Dilemma

The Last Jedi left a sour taste in a lot of fans mouths as  left theaters utterly dissapointed. And when EA decided to add constant in game purchases for Battlefront II, gamers that grew up on the original Battlefront series were driven away. But within the Past Few months, Disney and EA have been listening to our voices, and have released projects that have gotten back to Star Wars’s roots.

    The Mandalorian

Star Wars The Mandalorian is a Disney Plus Exclusive follows the Journey of a bounty hunter between the events of Episode VI and Episode VII. Rotten Tomatoes has given this show a 90 out of 100 and has received a 9.1/10 rating from IMDb.

    Jedi Knight Fallen Order

Starting five years after the great Jedi Purge, this game follows the story of Jedi Padawan, Cal Kestis. Throughout this adventure, we learn to use the force, explore the galaxy and stay hidden from the Galactic Empire. Game Spot has given this game an 8/10 and IGN gave this a 9/10.

With this positive outlook of recent Star Wars content, we can only hope they have the same energy when it comes to “The Rise of Skywalker”, which comes out next month.
