Alex Jones is a self-made entrepreneur who is the host of Infowars, a far-right conspiracy-mongering website. His rants have fueled fear and paranoia among his followers, who are building bunkers, stockpiling food and hoarding gold. Despite his attempts to hide his money, it’s been revealed that he has spent over $100K on guns and $4000 on a cryogenic chamber.
He also faces numerous defamation lawsuits and he was forced to pay a massive judgment last year in Texas to the parents of Sandy Hook victims. In addition, he’s facing bankruptcy filings as he diverts funds meant for his company to protect his fortune from legal threats.
His Conspiracy Theories
In the years since his antigovernment beliefs took hold, Jones has promoted a series of conspiracies about national tragedies that are designed to cast doubt on the intentions of government institutions. Jones often accuses the government of orchestrating mass shootings and bombings to incite violence against Americans. He has raised doubts about the legitimacy of the 9/11 attacks, the Boston Marathon bombing, and the Oklahoma City federal building bombing.
The Infowars host has become known for his false-flag diatribes, which have led to countless lawsuits from families of shooting victims, social media expulsions and an investigation by a House select committee. But he remains committed to his beliefs even as they have been linked to mass shootings, including a 2012 attack in Aurora, Colorado, and a 2014 massacre at a movie theater in Newtown, Connecticut.
Utilizing his InfoWars wealth, Alex Jones has assembled a peculiar assortment of possessions, which encompasses a $4,000 cryogenic-freezing chamber, approximately $54,000 worth of watches and cufflinks, as well as over $100,000 invested in firearms. https://t.co/tA4eSbnbuB

Is this foreshadowing something?
Jones is a Texas-based conspiracy theorist who is notorious for his epic rants on the so-called “New World Order” and conspiracies about secret internment camps, enforced eugenics and behind-the-scenes control by a global corporate cabal. The platform has garnered a devoted following numbering in the tens of thousands. These individuals are convinced that the United States is currently entrenched in a dystopian future ruled by a malevolent regime, and they firmly believe that it’s only the genuine patriots who possess the power to halt this course.
He grew up in a suburban home, but it wasn’t until after the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing that his ideas about conspiracy theories began to take hold. He cites a book written by John Birch Society public relations representative Gary Allen that was his launching pad for the conspiracy theories that have dominated his life.
In addition to the CRYONiQ brand cryogenic chamber he recently purchased for $4000, Jones also owns a number of firearms. In the filing, he lists 54 guns valued at $101,261.
His Watch Collection
Jones has built up a substantial collection of watches as well, boasting 19 timepieces and a pair of cufflinks that amount to a total value of $54,622. He’s accumulated a hefty sum of cash in the process, including $157,000 that was diverted to himself instead of the company as it sought to protect itself from the mammoth Sandy Hook judgment.
His Guns
Jones’s assets don’t just include firearms: According to the filing, he owns a luxury car and a helicopter. He also has a vast property portfolio in Austin, Texas, where he lives in a five-bedroom mansion overlooking Barton Creek Greenbelt.
The man behind the rants
While Jones’s claims of a New World Order have been proven to be false, his beliefs about government corruption are still believed by a large portion of the American population. These beliefs have become the foundation of the conspiracy-theory movement and have caused real harm to real people, particularly victims of mass shootings like those at Sandy Hook Elementary School in 2012.
