Amber Rose is one of the few celebrities who doesn’t have a problem with spilling the tea.
Rose made a star appearance on “The Red Pill” podcast with Van Lathan to talk about some personal struggles she had way back in the day. Rose reveals that when she was just a teenager, she tried to sell crack.
Never before had Rose mentioned that, and she’s been in the spotlight since the days when she used to date Kanye West. However, she seemed pretty comfortable talking about it with Lathan.
“I tried selling drugs, I tried selling crack in my neighborhood, and they were like ‘no.”They said I was going to get robbed, I was a girl and I was too pretty, and it wasn’t going to happen.”
Amber Rose admitted that at the time she tried to get into the crack business, her family had fallen onto hard times, so she had to step up to become the bread-winner.
Rose did, however, say that the guys in her neighborhood let her bag the contraband for them. By doing that, she was able to make a little extra money…but nothing serious. She still had to resort to stripping for the extra cash.
At the end of it all, Rose said she realized something. The SlutWalk supporter says that there is a double standard when it comes to men, women, and drugs. While men are praised for selling drugs, women are often looked down upon for doing it.
AR is known to be advocate for women’s rights and freedom of expression.
