BTS announces new collaboration with j. cole
ARMYs, we know you’ve been waiting for the ultimate collab between your favorite K-pop band and one of the GOATS of Hip-Hop. And now, j-hope’s dreams have come true: the Korean rapper has teamed up with American rapper J. Cole for his upcoming single, On The Street.
This isn’t the first time J. Cole has inspired j-hope: back in 2022, the Korean singer and rapper met him in Chicago for Lollapalooza. And he was absolutely giddy about it, calling him his “muse” and reciting a few of his favorite songs from the rap pioneer.
Now, j-hope is taking his musical obsession to the next level with this unexpected collab. And it’s sure to be epic, ARMYs.
The video begins with a short meeting between j-hope and J. Cole, showcasing the two artists together in the background of New York City. A gentle whistle sound accompanies the visuals and they appear to be having an exciting time as the camera moves to a rooftop.
Fans are gushing over this collaboration between the superstar rappers
This isn’t the first time BTS has worked with J. Cole: back in 2013, the rapper lent his voice to BTS’ track “Born Singer.” But this is the first time they’ve collaborated on a song together! As a fan, we can’t wait to hear the result!
