Music has a universal language. Of course, it reaches thousands of people around the world. Though, there’s always been certain limitations with music’s reach, until recently. Apparently, producing good music isn’t just exclusive to certain artists, let alone human ones. Recently, Capitol Records signed the world’s first A.I rapper FN Meka this week and the news has everyone freaking out.
The A.I Rapper Signs His First Record Deal
In the entertainment industry, it seems like anything is possible. The music scene especially has cooked up some new innovative projects, such as creating AI pop singers and rappers. Until recently, Japanese A.I pop star Hatsune Miku has remained a huge singing sensation in Japan.
Now A.I rapper FN Meka has become the new biggest robot artist. Fans may recognize the so-called emcee for his extravagant style, signature green hair and eyes, tattoos and his gold-plated hand. Obviously, his creators over at Factory New went with the SoundCloud-rapper look.
Furthermore, the A.I-rapper signed a record deal with Capitol Records this week. Supporting their newest signee, Capitol Records hailed FN Meka the “no. 1 virtual being on TikTok.” Currently, he’s the first “AR artist” to sign with a major label. Looks like the future of music may be going digital after all.
The Computerized Rapper Has Dropped A Handful Of Records
While FN Meka has already signed with one of the biggest record labels, he’s also released a handful of records. Furthermore, the virtual reality, emo-rapper dropped his first tracks “Moonwalkin’” and “Internet” in 2019.
Additionally, FN Meka released his first single “Florida Water” with his new record label home. The new track also includes big-name features, such as Gunna. FN Meka may be just a man-made machine, but he knows how to put out great music.
