Donald Glover Gripes about Cancel Culture
Donald Glover, known as Childish Gambino has an inclination to express his creativity. Glover opens up about his disproval of ‘cancel culture’ in the film and music industry.
He took to Twitter to chime in on the discussion:
“People here were discussing their fatigue from reviewing monotonous content (TV and film),” he started. “We receive mundane material devoid of any daring experiments, possibly due to the fear of being canceled.”
Moreover, Donald Glover argued that a great deal of content in the entertainment industry is boring. This is the worst thing that could have happened to the industry right now.
He added, “Therefore, they believe their only room for experimentation lies in aesthetics (also because some of them are aware of their limitations).”
As the COVID-19 pandemic had a handle on Hollywood beginning to loosen, the Grammy-winning creative is getting back to work. I’m addition, Glover announced that shooting for the long-awaited Season 3 of Atlanta is underway. He even teased a premiere at the top of 2022, but has no idea when his final album is dropping.
The Rapper, Actor Faces Lawsuit
With sunshine, a dark cloud is always somewhere near. Recently, Donald Glover and even Young Thug were hit with a lawsuit over his Record of the Year-winning “This Is America.”
A rapper named Emelike Nwosuocha who rhymes under the alias of Kidd Wes sued Glover claiming he ripped off his 2016 track titled “Made In America.”
The rapper is silent on the matter and chose not to make a statement.
Although Glover is currently in some heat, he is sure to bless fans with his unduplicated talent.
