Drake Keeps Achieving Higher Heights
Nowadays, it seems like Drake is breaking music records every week at this point. Recently, the rapper achieved remarkable success on the Hot 100’s Top 3. Billboard also revealed that he is the only artist to be on their Artist 100 chart since its launch in 2014.
Billboard’s #Artist100 chart, launched on July 19, 2014, has been running for 350 weeks. @Drake is the only artist to appear on the chart every single week.
How to Qualify
The Artist 100 chart measures an artist’s performance for a week using the Hot 100, Billboard 200, and Social 50. Following his Scary Hours 2 project, it’s no surprise Drake rose to the top once again to snatch the No. 1 spot for the 32nd time. He only trails Taylor Swift in weeks at the apex.
Drake Celebrates, Pays Respects to Bow Wow
With Scary Hours 2, Drake made history by reaching the bar as the first artist to ever debut in the top three slots of the Hot 100. He joined Ariana Grande and The Beatles as the only artists to accomplish the historic feat.
Drake celebrated his accomplishment with friends and family on Monday night. Moreover, he paid homage home for inspiring him to pursue music.
I had to link with Wizzle,” he says in the clip. “Everyone wants to party, celebrate, and have a good time. I just had to meet Wizzle in person. Without you, there would be no me. That’s why I’ll always support you.”
The world has to brace itself for what Drake has in store next. Until then, big ups to the 6 God.
