Having had a few hiccups since it was first announced in 2018, Dreamville festival is finally starting to take hold as one of the most popular artist-led festivals in North Carolina. The two-day event will be held April 1-2 at Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh, North Carolina. It will feature a stacked line up of international artists, including J. Cole, Drake, Usher, Lil Durk, and Ari Lennox, among others.
Headlines and New Vibes
On Saturday, Usher will headline the festival’s first night, followed by performances from Lil Durk, Ari Lennox, City Girls, Sean Paul, Earthgang, Jessie Reyez, Key Glock, Sir, Lute, Omen, Marques Clae, and Victony. Day two will feature a headlining set from J. Cole and Drake and appearances from Burna Boy, Summer Walker, J.I.D., GloRilla, etc.
According to a press release from Dreamville, the event will feature a wide range of music genres. And a mix of local vendors, food trucks, and community organizations across the Triangle region. As part of its mission to create a welcoming and culturally inclusive event, Dreamville will also host several family-friendly activities and workshops.
The festival will run for two days, from April 1 to 2, at Dorothea Dix Park in downtown Raleigh. Tickets are available for presale now, and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Dreamville Foundation and Dorothea Dix Park Conservancy.
This year, the Dreamville festival will have a heavy dose of Dancehall with Jamaican megastar Sean Paul. The reggae pop star will perform on the first night, while Nigerian superstar Burna Boy will play on the second day. This will be the first time Jamaican musicians have been invited to the event.

Cole curated this event to bring together several local vendors, food trucks, and artisans around the Triangle area for a weekend of creativity and fun. The event attracts several national and international visitors annually, creating an economic impact of over $6.7 million.

After being held in the heart of Downtown Raleigh for a second year, Dreamville Festival will return for its third edition next April and will bring world-renowned artists to Raleigh. It is now expected to host over 80,000 attendees.
