Legendary CEO Josh Grode confirmed this. Grode stated,
“We must have all creative stakeholders aligned and support the vision. I think everyone is very excited and enjoying this moment. If Denis [Villeneuve] gets the script right and feels he can deliver an experience on par with what we’ve just completed, I don’t see why not.”
Villeneuve, who has been teasing “Dune: Messiah” since the 2021 Venice Film Festival, is writing the script based on Frank Herbert‘s novel. He insists on delivering a high-quality experience and is in no rush to complete the threequel.
