Ed Sheeran is off the market.
Ed Sheeran confirms marriage, with his longtime girlfriend Cherry Seaborn. Sheeran first confirmed the news on his new album No.6 Collaborations Project, on the song “Remember the Name.”
It was then in an interview with Charlamagne Tha God, while appearing on iHeartRadio, that he addressed it publicly.
This is what Ed Sheeran says about confirming his marriage:
“It was actually before me and Cherry got married, and I knew that we’d be married by the point that the song came out. So I said, ‘Watch how the lyrics in this song might get twisted/My wife wears red but looks better without the lipstick.’ And I was like ’cause someone’s going to hear that and be like ‘Oh they’re married,’ and I didn’t know how that would be. But, obviously, it’s already come out.”
Sheeran says that he had made the song way before he and Cherry ever had the chance to exchange vows. He explains that it was just something he already knew would happen…so you know…why not put it in a song.
After all, he’s crazy about Cherry, and she about him. So it just made perfect sense. However, sometimes Sheeran sometimes doesn’t believe he was able to attract someone as hot as his wife.
Beside talking about the wedding, he gushes over how much the two of them are in love:
“I constantly wake up every day with Cherry and I’m just like, ‘Why the f–ck are you with me? You could literally be with whoever you wanted, and you’ve chosen me. And I’m saying all of the things that I think are wrong with me, but you still want to be with me.’ And I just find that amazing.”
Ed Sheeran and Cherry Seaborn tied the knot in a secret wedding ceremony, possibly sometime in February, reports E News.
