Eminem announces his new single ‘Houdini’ in a FaceTime call with magician David Blaine. It is dated the 29th of May, 2024. In that said call, Eminem needed Blain’s help with something associated with magic. Headed by the title ‘Houdini,’ the camera pans in and out of a screen recording that reads “5.31.24”, further confirming the song’s release this Friday, May 31.
In the video, Eminem asked Blaine, “How far can we go with this magic? Like, can we do a stunt or something?”. Then, after sipping some wine, Blaine began to eat the glass. Eminem commented, “Well, for my last trick, I’m going to make my career disappear. ”

Rumors Associated with the Song “Houdini” It is perceived that the song ‘Houdini’ was inspired by Harry Houdini, who, like Blaine, was an escape artist, illusionist, and stunt performer. There are speculations that Eminem’s last trick message is a nod to the upcoming album being the last for his alter ego. The next album is The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce), and it’s supposed to be out this summer.
