The Judge Plans To Send The Rapper To The Slammer For 5 Years
Some rap stars change their life for the better after doing time in jail. However, others like Fetty Wap can’t seem to get on the right track. Furthermore, the rapper pleaded guilty on Monday to a prior conspiracy drug charge. Authorities arrested him last October with the belief that he allegedly smuggled large amounts of drugs into New York and Long Island.
Further details reveal he transported the drugs using cars and the U.S. Postal Service. Unfortunately, the drug trafficking charges call for a possible 5-year jail sentencing. After Fetty Wap’s plea on Monday, police escorted him back to jail where he now awaits his future sentencing. Looks like the rapper is in deep water now.
He’s Not The Only One Serving A Long Jail Sentencing
Though, Fetty Wap isn’t the only one facing a long jail sentence. Prosecutors have also accused five co-defendants of conspiring to possess and distribute several kilograms of heroin, fentanyl and crack cocaine between June 2019 and June 2020. Additionally, the two co-defendants pleaded guilty and await their sentencing. Talk about hard times.
