Growing up in a famous family can be a blast. Future’s oldest song Kobi recently spoke on the pros of having a famous father. Clearly, the kid loves a life of fame and fortune. Though, he mostly enjoys watching his dad perform at concerts and win a string of accolades. More than anything, Kobi hopes to one day work in his father’s footsteps.
Kobi Loves Watching His Father Work
Future may not have the best relationship with his baby mamas. The guy has everything from child support issues to allegedly bad-mouthing his baby mamas in front of his children. Fortunately, for his sake, Future still continues to have a relationship with his children. In particular, he’s seemingly close with his oldest son Kobi.
During a recent interview with The Progress Report, Kobi spoke highly of his father. Additionally, he shared that he loves being the son of a famous rapper. He especially loves how his father gets to live out his dreams and perform in front of thousands of people every night. He even revealed that he’s an aspiring emcee himself and hopes to one day be like his old man. Like father, like son.
Having a Famous Father Isn’t So Bad
While Kobi enjoys having a famous father around, he makes it known that growing up with him wasn’t so easy. Before, he attended school like any normal kid, with the excepting of wearing the latest fashion. However, things changed after people learned the identity of his father. Though, it took time for Kobi to accept that it just comes with the territory.
“Me not being used to it at first then me getting used to it prepared me to just deal with it now. So it’s really not that big of a deal now because I know how to move around with certain stuff. It’s easy now,” he told The Progress Report. Clearly, he’s ready for the life of fame and fortune.
