New York’s Hot 97 is bringing the 2023 edition of Summer Jam to Long Island’s UBS Arena on June 4, and this year’s headliner will be none other than Cardi B. In a story shared on her Instagram account by HipHopDX, the Bronx native gives fans an inside look at her preparation for the big day as she trains and prepares to dominate the stage.

This year, Cardi B has made a major impact in the music industry. Her album “Invasion of Privacy” has earned her numerous awards and recognition for her efforts.Her meteoric rise to the top of the game is a mirror image of hip-hop culture itself, as she rose from the streets of the Boogie Down Bronx and became a global superstar with a bang.
As part of this year’s festivities, Cardi B will headline the main event alongside a slew of up-and-coming artists to celebrate women’s role in hip-hop’s evolution. Along with Cardi, the likes of Ice Spice, GloRilla, Coi Leray, Lola Brooke, Fivio Foreign, French Montana, Lil TJay and more will take to the stage for the festival’s biggest homecoming in years. In addition, The LOX will perform a special tribute to celebrate hip-hop’s 50th anniversary.
The full lineup for the one-night-only event is sure to be a blast, as Hot 97 has enlisted a slew of newcomers and seasoned veterans alike to make the night a special celebration of hip-hop. Besides the featured acts, there will also be a preshow featuring rising talents including NLE Choppa, Kenzo B, 2Rare, Sha EK and McVertt.

For many in the audience, this will be their first time seeing GloRilla live. The rapper just released her raucous new EP, Anyways, Life’s Great… (Bonus Edition), last month. The project is her biggest label debut to date and showcases her abilities as someone who can perform alongside established rappers or explore a new realm all on her own.
