According to The Hollywood Reporter, H.E.R. is in the final stages of negotiations to secure her role in the upcoming musical adaptation. Inside reports reveal that the “Could’ve Been” artist will play Mary “Squeak” Agnes. The character embodies a waitress yearning to jump start her singing career.
