Jack Harlow Sets Example
Jack Harlow is taking strides to better himself. Firstly, he started off by refraining from indulging in his “favorite vice.” Harlow is usually low key, yet he had something important to say — he’s no longer drinking.
“Haven’t had a single sip of alcohol in 2021,” he wrote in a new post. “I’m planning on staying sober for the rest of the year, and maybe I’ll even quit drinking for good. Drinking used to be my favorite indulgence (I’m not a fan of smoking), but this year has taught me that I can live without it.”
Harlow understands the assignment: be the best he can be to perform at his greatest. In addition, he serves as a role model for white kids as they navigate Black culture. Last month Harlow acknowledged his responsibility to remind them not to just consume Black culture. But, to stand in solidarity with Black people when they are in need.
