Kanye West visited the LA County Sheriff’s Station on Tuesday after getting into an altercation with paparazzi. According to TMZ, he filed a complaint against one of the photographers who was following him.
It’s not the first time Kanye has had an argument with paparazzi. The rumored “Nazi whisperer” was arrested in 2008 for an altercation with two photographers at the Los Angeles International Airport.
TMZ Reports
TMZ is one of the most influential gossip sites in the world. They have a reputation for breaking news and setting the tone for what’s acceptable to say about women and sexual assault. They also have a reputation for using paparazzi images to get their scoops.
Founded by David Levin, a former KCBS-TV reporter who covered the OJ Simpson trial, TMZ has gained scoops from sources on the ground including LA police, courthouse clerks, paramedics and nurses. It doesn’t rely on publicists and gatekeepers to provide copy approval or tip fees for stories like many other celebrity news outlets.
While TMZ does pay tips for some of its stories, it only runs those it believes to be independent. Among its most famous scoops are the release of Mel Gibson’s drunk driving arrest and the posting of anti-Semitic rants made by Michael Richards in a comedy club.
The site also published footage of a recorded phone call between Donald Sterling, then the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers, and his mistress, V. Stiviano, which was prompted by her instigating an affair with the team’s black star Magic Johnson.
Another story was the death of the singer Whitney Houston, who died after she was sprayed by a gunshot at her hotel room. A first responder tipped off the site, and the site ran the story eighteen minutes after she stopped breathing.
In 2013, TMZ broke a series of stories about celebrities being victimized by hackers. In those cases, a swat team was sent to the victim’s house. TMZ reported the stories and also included photos of the swat team at the home, which showed that they were wearing masks.
But in some cases TMZ has violated ethical standards by reporting stories that could lead to a person’s arrest and imprisonment. During the Johnny Depp case, for example, TMZ published pictures of bruises on Amber Heard’s face that she claimed were from Depp.
TMZ has been accused of paying paparazzi for their work but has said that they only use pictures that they have independently verified. Despite this, they have been criticised for some of their more outrageous scoops and the publication has been forced to remove a number of stories due to outraged comments.

Kanye West Visited the LA County Sheriff’s Station on Tuesday After Getting Into an Altercation With Paparazzi
TMZ reports that Kanye West visited the LA County Sheriff’s Station on Tuesday (February 14) after getting into an altercation with Paparazzi. According to a law enforcement source, the Chicago rapper got into an argument with paparazzi while at his daughter North West’s basketball game and requested them to stop recoding his family. The interaction almost turned physical, but West decided to take matters to the police instead.
The incident comes just weeks after a video surfaced of Kanye West arguing with a woman as she tried to take his picture from her car. In the video, Kanye was seen grabbing the woman’s phone as she tried to film him and throwing it in the street.
However, Ye has reportedly learned from his mistakes. He is reportedly now taking a more calm approach when it comes to his interactions with Paparazzi.
Last month, a video showed Kanye arguing with a woman as she tried taking his picture from her car. In the video, West was seen grabbing the woman’s phone and throwing it in the street. This was a follow-up to a previous incident in August of 2022, where Kanye allegedly punched a man who asked for his autograph.
On the same day that West argued with the woman, he was also spotted handing out his controversial “White Lives Matter” T-shirts on Los Angeles’ Skid Row. The Anti-Defamation League has labeled this phrase as a hate slogan used by White supremacists.
This upcoming Valentine’s Day, Kanye and his new wife Bianca Censori are scheduled to be spotted at a movie theater with music producer Russell Simmons. The couple was also spotted at a club on Valentine’s Day in January where he held a non-legal marriage ceremony.
After the incident with the Paparazzi, Ye was spotted at a concert in Houston with his family. While he was there, he performed for more than 200 male inmates and his choir sang songs from his gospel album “Jesus is King.”
While Kanye is a notoriously polarizing figure, his love life is even more complicated. He has four kids with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, and he’s dating an Australian architect named Bianca Censori. While their relationship is largely private, they were spotted smiling together in public and holding hands earlier this year on a date to a movie theater.
Kanye West Asks Paparazzi to Stop Recoding His Family
Kanye West has a history of arguing with paparazzi. He’s even been charged with battery after grabbing a woman’s phone and throwing it. Now, the 45-year-old rapper is reportedly reversing his strategy and aiming for a less confrontational approach to unwanted filming.
TMZ reports that the rapper recently went to the LA Country Sheriff’s Station, where he reported an altercation with photographers. According to law enforcement sources, the rapper asked them to stop recording him and his family after he got into an argument.
The argument was reportedly peaceful, but it did escalate. The “Jesus Is King” artist claims that he was yelled at by the photographer, but that it did not become physical or violent. He also allegedly said that the paparazzi treat him like some type of caged animal.
He also added that he wants celebrities to be given a percentage of the profits made from photos that are taken of them by paparazzi. He went on to say that he has mental health issues because of the constant stress of being followed by the paparazzi.
In another video posted on social media, West argues with a woman who was filming him. He then snatches her phone and throws it into the street before riding off in his SUV.
This comes a few weeks after Ye was caught getting into an altercation with a photographer in a similar situation. The incident involved a woman who was yelling at him and refusing to put her phone down. The incident landed the rapper in trouble with the Ventura County sheriff’s office, and he was also named a suspect in a battery investigation after the incident.
This new approach to dealing with paparazzi is a positive step for West, who’s been facing a lot of messes in his life lately. Last year, he was banned from Twitter for doubling down on anti-Semitic comments and lost his prestigious business deal with Balenciaga. Additionally, the rapper’s California ranch was found in shambles and he reportedly had to hire an expert to clean it up. While his marriage to Yeezy designer Bianca Censori is off to a good start, it’s likely that Ye will have his fair share of problems in the coming years.
Kanye West Accuses Paparazzi of Getting Physical
Kanye West has had one too many run-ins with paparazzi and fans who want to capture him in action. The rapper is reportedly using a new strategy to deal with them without resorting to violence.
TMZ reports that Ye recently went to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Station to report an altercation with a photographer on Tuesday afternoon. TMZ also reported that he told the officers that his interaction with the paparazzi nearly turned physical.
According to TMZ, Ye got into an argument with the paparazzi and asked them to stop filming him. During the argument, the interaction almost turned physical but Ye stopped short and headed to the police station.
The incident took place outside the Soho Warehouse, a members-only club in downtown Los Angeles. During the argument, the alleged victim said that Ye got enraged and began to verbally abuse the fan. The alleged victim was struck twice by Ye, including once in the head and once in the neck, TMZ reports.
After the alleged attack, the police launched a battery investigation. The alleged victim and witnesses named Ye as the suspect in the battery.
West has also been accused of assaulting a paparazzi in 2008. He pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor battery charge and was sentenced to 250 hours of community service, 24 anger management sessions and two years probation.
Another incident occurred in January 2014, when he allegedly attacked a woman who was following him outside of a chiropractor’s office in Beverly Hills. The alleged victim, who was a former sex tape siren, yelled racial slurs at the rapper and dropped the N-word.
TMZ reported that the alleged victim and other witnesses called the police to report the attack, which happened Monday in the 8800 block of Wilshire Boulevard. The police then arrested West for a misdemeanor battery.
In July 2013, West pled no contest to a misdemeanor charge of battery and was sentenced to 250 hours of community services, 24 anger management sessions and two years probation. He also agreed to settle a civil lawsuit filed against him by the paparazzo Daniel Ramos, who claims that West punched him in an unprovoked attack and grabbed his camera. The photographer allegedly suffered serious injuries from the attack, and still takes medication for his injuries.
Let’s not forget other times where celebrities have absolutely lost it.
