These days, Kanye West has been losing friends right and left. The rapper, now known as Ye, has driven away everyone, including his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
Fortunately, he still has a few people in his corner.
He’s even received support from stars like Drake amidst his “White Lives Matter” controversy. He’s even still great friends with Jamie Foxx.
Recently, the big-time rapper revealed who he’d choose to star as him in a movie. Ye clarified that he’s a big fan of his buddy Jamie Foxx. Of course, given their history, Ye would choose the actor as his number one choice.
Ye Wants Jamie Foxx To Star As Him In A Film
Jamie Foxx has gone on to become one of the most extraordinary talents of our generation.
Additionally, he’s a very versatile actor, having successfully transitioned from comedian to action hero and delivering noteworthy drama performances.
He’s a force to be reckoned with, and Hollywood knows it.
Ye especially knows that the legendary actor has the juice. After taking a much-needed break from his controversial display at Paris Fashion Week, Ye took to Instagram to reveal who he’d choose to star as him in a biopic motion picture.
Honestly, who would be brave enough to play Ye? Ye choose his close friend Jamie Foxx. The rapper wholeheartedly believes that Foxx would be the perfect actor for a film project about his life. He even hailed him as one of our time’s “greatest geniuses.”
Furthermore, the two have worked on numerous projects together. For instance, they collaborated on Ye’s 2006 smash “Gold Digger,” which went platinum 8 times by the RIAA. The pair make a great team.
The Actor Thinks Highly Of His Friend
By the two being such good friends, they’ve done nothing but praise each other’s work. During a red carpet premiere of his new Netflix film Day Shift, Foxx expressed his admiration for Ye.
He even went as far as saying that the rapper “has some magic.” Jamie Foxx thinks Ye has some great acting chops.
Though we have not seen the rapper star in any films, it would be interesting to see how he’d measured up.
