Most fans speculate it to be a diss track towards Kardashian since the title is capitalized, spelling “Kim,” and the lyrics seem to refer to their feud.

Swift’s lyrics suggest a reframing of past events, hinting at a feud that has left its mark but hasn’t dampened her spirit. The song also includes a line about a child coming home singing a song that only the two of them would recognize, likely a nod to Kardashian’s daughter North’s 2023 TikTok video where she was seen dancing to Swift’s “Shake It Off.” Following the release of this song, Kardashian reportedly lost more than 100,000 followers.
Nevertheless, during Kardashian’s appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live ! to promote the season finale of American Horror Story: Delicate, both Kimmel and Kardashian did not comment on Swift. Instead, Kardashian focused on the positive, declaring “Life is good” being excited about her new SKIMS line, her past romance with Madonna , and current relationship. In addition, she confirmed an online rumor that she “sleeps with her eyes barely open” .
Kardashian revealed that she always asks someone else to remove the sleeve from her coffee cup because she can’t stand the sound of cardboard rubbing against cardboard. “Yes, that’s true, and I hate the feeling,” she said, adding, “I just can’t see it being done, or I can’t hear it and I can’t feel it. The cardboard getting moved off of the cup is like nails on a chalkboard to me.”
The relationship between Kardashian and Swift has been a focal point since “thanK you aIMee” – note that the artist also emphasizes the first letters of Kardashian’s name with capital letters. Their clash dates back to 2009 when Kardashian’s then-boyfriend, rapper Kanye West, crashed Swift’s winner speech at the VMAs. In 2016, the feud finally reached its peak when West’s released his song “Famous”, with the lyrics “I feel like me and Taylor Swift might still have sex, Why? In a Time interview about her Person of the Year 2023 award, Swift remarked on how much the criticism had impacted her.
“Therefore, my vocation was gone,” she said. “You have this totally fabricated setup in an unlawfully recorded telephone conversation and after Kim Kardashian alters it and releases it pretending to the world that I was lying; it brought me down psychologically to a level that I had never been at.”

She sings about writing songs and leaving the signature that she knows too well, but she also mentions the scars and the final realization that none of this could have existed without the other person . As painful and destructive the feud seemed to have been, it almost only succeeded in making her a more creative and resilient person. As for Kardashian, she is willing to focus on the positive aspects of her life, making fun of the diss track and continuing her life.
