Lil Durk’s fans were left hanging at Rolling Loud, NY this past weekend. Where the rapper got set to being a headliner at the festival.
What is Rolling Loud?
It started as a one-day event held in Wynwood four years ago. With a headlining including Juicy J, Action Bronson, and Curren$y. As well Schoolboy Q who at the time is riding on the success of “Collard Greens” featuring Kendrick Lamar.
Moreover, a pre- Rodeo Travis Scott was on the headlined list. After those four years, the festival became a fever dream for indie/upcoming rappers. In a latter of time, it’s now considered one of rap’s biggest festivals in America. Furthermore, it’s Miami’s most notable music event after the crash of the Ultra Music Festival, meltdown.
No Show
A lot of hip-hop fans got seen in New York City while attending Rolling Loud. The Line-up for this year included 50 Cent, J. Cole, Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert, Jack Harlow, and more. Sadly, with many of these festivals, some artists don’t show up to their set. This time included OTF Founder, Lil Durk.
Lil Durk’s fans are fuming after a tweet posted by XXL Magazine of a video showing a huge crowd being angry. Some even began to throw water bottles at the stage right after finding out the Laugh Now, Cry Later artist didn’t show up.

Additionally, the video received many responses from fans.“Not gonna lie I’ve been a Durk fan for a minute but since he got his fame the past year the way he does crowds is kinda weird especially after the last few concerts where he straight up said he wasn’t feeling the energy. Like he gets paid extra for a good vibe,” said a fan.
Another person added that the least Lil Durk could have done was to say something has come up.
Here’s a better view smh @lildurk could of at least had his people say something came up 😩 pic.twitter.com/5r2sRM20NY
