“Split/Whole-time” is a single of the 22-year old’s Lil Boat 3 album, which drops this Friday. The single serves as a nice appetizer to fans patiently waiting for the final installment of Yachty’s Boat trilogy.
The Video for “Split/Whole-time” is, as the title suggests, separated into two parts. In the first part of the video, most of the action takes place in a parking lot. Visually the director of the video kept true with the title of the song by “splitting” the screen into three parts. Scenes feature Yachty and Friends (including Playboy Carti) mobbing in a parking lot with Carti seen often in his Red Ferrari.
As the song transition, so does the video, and the location for the video is inside of an indoor trampoline park. Lil Yachty’s entourage has grown at this point and features many more females this time. The video screen is a whole and shows at a bunch of 20 somethings year olds having child-like fun. A few internet-famous people were in attendance to enjoy the festivities, including Demetrius Harmon.
