John Phillip: My artist’s name is John Phillip. I am 18 years old and based in London, United Kingdom. I began writing and producing my song at 15 and still do everything myself today.

John Phillip: In the context of our contemporary society. The concept of beauty standards becomes a core focus within my composition entitled “Muddy Water.” Precisely honing in on women’s experiences, this song delves into their immense pressure to adhere to societal norms.
The pervasiveness of social media plays a vital role in influencing these notions, ultimately leading individuals down a path where their true selves become obscured. It is essential to mention that I have wholeheartedly poured my creativity into each element of this piece—from its lyrical content and musical arrangement to the technical aspects such as production and engineering—an achievement I hold dear.
By fusing various genres like RnB and dark ballads “Muddy Water” exudes an unparalleled charm that sets it apart. Moreover. It forms an integral component of my debut project titled “Sounds Behind The Walls (2020)”. Now accessible for all music enthusiasts.

John Phillip: What I like most about being a music artist is expressing myself. It is therapeutic to say and release my thoughts and problems through music. I also love the process. I enjoy writing songs and singing, which I do all the time. It is also fun to record and produce my written pieces and experiment with creating exciting sounds. I am entirely self-taught in all of this, and I initially started it and continue to do it out of pure joy.
