    Mayweather “Stay Rich Or Die Trying” With MMA Fight

    TBE: The best ever when it comes to the conversation of boxing, just made a major announcement.

    Floyd Mayweather Jr. plans to make his MMA debut on New Year’s Eve.The undefeated welterweight boxer will take on the undefeated 20-year-old japanese kickboxing prospect Tenshin Nasukawa, on December 31st. The event will take place at the 37,000-seat Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. The event will take place about an half-hour drive from Tokyo.

    Early this morning, the two fighters appeared at for a news conference in Tokyo streamed worldwide on Youtube. In the ultimate Mayweather fashion, it was dropped globally, confirming the collaboration with Rizin Fighting Federation. The company started in 2015 and puts on MMA and kickboxing events.

    Many believe that this is an entryway for Mayweather to possibly have a showdown with Connor McGregor in the cage in the near future. Either way, Mayweather is sure to walk away with a seven-figure check.  The ultimate master of entertainment continues to defy all levels of structure when it comes to the world of sports.

    Even with the fight being announced, several details were not included or specified including, the rules of the bout, rounds, weight, or how the fight would be distributed and which platform.
