    Naomi Osaka Has Meltdown After US Open Loss

    Born in Japan and raised in the U.S, Naomi Osaka has taken the game of tennis with her to the top. The star, born under star sign Libra, is the perfect balance of Japanese and Haitian. Her mother is native to Japan while her father is from Haiti.

    According to biography.com, Osaka began learning the game at the tender age of 3 years old. She is the first and only Asian to win a grand slam title with a 120 mile per hour serve,  promising her the world’s no. 1 rank.

    Naomi’s parents met in Sapporo, Japan where they fell in love. Tamaki Osaka, Naomi’s mother was condemned for dating outside of the Japanese race. She and Francois (Naomi’s father) relocated to the Japanese city of Osaka.

    She is the younger sister of Mari, born 18 months earlier.

    The couple granted their daughters with Tamaki’s last name so that they would be better accepted by Japanese culture and traditions.

    Her father encouraged his daughter to play under the Japan Tennis Association. He believed that they have more to offer his daughter than the United States Tennis Association.

    Young Tennis Great

    Osaka is the youngest opponent to defeat legendary Serena Williams, returning after giving birth in 2018. During the U.S. Open, Williams scored a penalty, after being angered by the call the Umpire granted two more penalties.

    During the trophy ceremony, the crowd booed, angered by the points taken away from Williams. Though unintended for Osaka, she cried in front of the crowd. Williams quickly saved the day by comforting the star asking the crowd to cease the booing.

    Noami’s Painful Loss

    According to tmz.com, Osaka won the first set; however, after returning for the second set, she double-faulted, losing the match.

    She threw her racket three times and walked off the court after losing. The tennis star wiped tears from her eyes in a post-match interview.

    “I feel like I’m at this point where I’m trying to figure out what I want to do, and I honestly don’t know when I’m going to play my next tennis match.”

    She as pulled out of the French open and will not compete at Wimbledon.
