For the long-awaited collaboration album, Hip Hop superstars Rich The Kid and Youngboy NBA drop Nobody Safe with big-time features from Lil Wayne and Rod Wave. The two New Orleans chart-toppers appear on album cuts “Body Bag” and “Sorry Momma.”
Nobody Safe comes from the popular demand of both Rich The Kid and Youngboy NBA fanbase. The 15-track collective is lead by the hit single “Bankroll“. Watch the video above.
The project combines Rich’s contagious energy and YoungBoy’s raw intensity. Whether they’re trading bars about stacking money or reflecting on the trials and tribulations of success on “Automatic,” Rich and YoungBoy’s competitive nature pushes them both to show up at their best. The project stems from a 2019 teaser by the two superstars in “For Keeps” that sent fans in a frenzy. Frequent social media posts together, Rich’s cameo in YoungBoy’s “Slime Mentality” video, and leaked footage of their recording sessions in Utah shed light on their friendship and prompted demands for more music from the multi-platinum artists. In March, they reconnected for “Money Talk” and “Racks On,” two standouts from Rich’s star-studded third studio album, Boss Man. After revealing matching diamond pendants, rumors continued that there was a whole album worth of music still in the vault.
On their friendship, Rich told Billboard: “You know, it’s just a vibe. When we get in there, it’s just we feed off each other and go right in.”
Nobody Safe is the first release by Rich The Kid and his Rich Forever imprint after major label departure and partnering with indie giant EMPIRE.
Along with Lil Wayne and Rod Wave, Nobody Safe includes a guest appearance by Quando Rondo with production by Wheezy, Murda Beatz, CashMoneyAP, CHASETHEMONEY, Louie Bandz and more. Youngboy NBA appears courtesy of Atlantic Records. At press time, Rich The Kid and Youngboy NBA released a follow-up video in “Automatic.” Watch it below.
