The rapper, whose real name is Roland Moore, bought the Gulfstream G550 aircraft through his company, called Maybach Air. He then customized the plane to scream his brand, with spiraling decor and automated features like self-folding tables and shades that draw with a button. Ross posed in front of the expensive new ride, pointing to its luxurious interior and boldly displaying his name written in gold on the side of the plane. The rapper also proudly displayed the logo of his record label, MMG, on its vertical stabilizer.
In the Instagram post, the rapper dubbed his new toy “Maybach Airlines” while boasting about its high-speed capabilities and state-of-the-art technology. He then urged his followers to dream big and never give up on their dreams. The Big Boss also used the video to thank his business partner, Duncan Aviation, for making the purchase possible.

Rick Ross’s Collection
The new jet adds to the Florida native’s massive collection of vehicles. He owns a ranch full of cars at his Promise Land estate in Fayetteville, and he’s also known for hosting an annual car show that has become a star-studded event featuring industry heavyweights like Diddy, Meek Mill, 2 Chainz, and Tyler, The Creator. In addition, he owns a variety of exotic animals, including lions, bison, giraffes, and bulls.
As he strutted around the tarmac, Ross encouraged his fans to follow in his footsteps and work hard toward their goals. He also reminded them that they could one day have their private jet, just as long as they put in the time and effort.
When Ross posted the video, he was trending on social media as many congratulated him on his success. Fellow celebrities such as TY Dolla Sign, Busta Rhymes, and German fashion designer Philipp Plein were also hailed.
Even though most of us will probably never own a $5 billion airplane, it’s fun to imagine what it would be like to take to the skies in a luxurious private jet.
