Police detained a teacher in a horrific case out of Covington, Tennessee. The teacher received charges of raping a 12-year-old student at her house. The 38-year-old mother of two, Alissa McCommon, found herself under charges of rape.
Teacher Arrested For Horrific Rape Case
She allegedly met the adolescent through playing video games and conversing online. Additionally, she received charges for contacting many young males. The Covington Police Department learned about the alleged event recently.
This is after the Tipton County Department of Children Services referred it to them. Many young people claimed that McCommon made friends with them. She even interacted with them on mobile social media platforms.
They claim that she begged for sexual intercourse with them. She also sent them obscene photographs of themselves. Police detained a two-time mother at her house on Friday, and they have been looking into the case ever since.
At Charger Academy in Covington, she was a social studies and English teacher. Her suspension is without pay, the school district announced in a statement. A teacher in New York also received charges for sexual offenses against a student.
The Corona Arts and Sciences Academy’s science teacher also found herself in hot water. Melissa Rockensies received accusations of rape and engaging in criminal sexual conduct. According to her counsel, she is not guilty of the accusations made against her.
The teenager reportedly told school staff about the incident on February 18. The teacher allegedly pushed the adolescent to get day passes so they could meet off-campus and have sex.
The teen claimed that although he had expressed a wish to quit the connection, she had persuaded him to do so. She threatened to revoke his school privileges when he tried to quit the relationship. The indictment claims that she also reportedly threatened to stop bringing him out of class.
