On the same night that the NBA canceled the entire remaining season indefinitely after a player tested positive. Hollywood is in panic mode now because oscar winner Tom Hanks along with his actress wife Rita Wilson has confirmed cases of Coronavirus.
Hanks and Wilson were in Australia shooting a film about Elvis Pressley.
Tom Hanks took to social media to share the news with fans.
The couple’s son, Chet Hanks, gave a further update shortly following the announcement stating: “They both are fine, they’re not even that sick.”
Hopefully for Chet is right. The Coronavirus, while a severe concern, isn’t as fatal as some people fear it is. Most cases see the patient recover after a short period. However, for certain groups of people, especially the elderly and sickly, the virus is a major concern. With events all over the world being canceled and entire sports leagues postponing their seasons, the world is feeling the effects of the virus. In a dream world, this will all be over soon, and things will go back to normal, but only time will tell.
