New 6LACK Album Might Be On The Way Very Soon.
After a successful run with his ‘East Atlanta Love Letter album in 2018, R&B artist 6LACK is preparing for a new release. The Baltimore-born rapper has been teasing the project with songs over the summer, including “Nonchalant” and “Switch.”
While there’s still no official release date for the project, 6LACK has confirmed that a new album will be on its way shortly. As such, expect more confessional lyrics and emotional melodies from the artist in the coming months.
The new music will follow 2018’s ‘East Atlanta Love Letter.’ The album was released via ‘LoveRenaissance’ and ‘Interscope Records’ in September 2018.
A look into 6lack’s Career
Ricardo Valdez Valentine, better known as 6LACK, has been making a name for himself as an alternative R&B artist since his release of ‘Free 6lack’ in 2016. He’s also been nominated for three Grammy Awards and earned over 742 million streams on Spotify last year.
In addition to his musical career, 6LACK has supported protesters fighting racial inequality and police brutality across the country. He’s done his part to help fund a new Black-owned bar in Atlanta called ‘More Than Tequila.’
He’s also been working on a hot sauce line he plans to promote. In addition, he’s got an upcoming performance at Patron and the NAACP’s ‘More Than Tequila’ concert series on Instagram Live.

The tour is a part of 6LACK’s ‘From East Atlanta, with Love’ tour, which will see him head to the UK and Europe this October. In support of his new release, he’ll be bringing his unique style to the stage and performing some tracks from ‘East Atlanta Love Letter’ alongside new material.
