Adam22 Responds to Allegations Linking Him to Bricc Baby & Luce Cannon’s Federal Arrest

Adam Grandmaison, more commonly referred to as Adam22, has openly replied and denied allegations that his podcast, No Jumper, was to blame for recent federal arrests of Luce Cannon and Bricc Baby. The two were arrested on March 19, 2025, as part of a massive law enforcement sweep against Los Angeles’ Rollin’ 60s Neighborhood Crips gang. They have serious charges against them including murder and RICO violations. Following their arrest, rumors circulated on social media that their appearances on No Jumper had something to do with their arrest. Adam22 has brushed off such allegations, however, indicating that his platform is a positive space and not a liability.

The arrests stem from a federal operation known as “Operation Draw Down,” aimed at disrupting gang-related crime in Los Angeles. Alongside Bricc Baby and Luce Cannon, several others were indicted, including the notable figure Big U. According to a recent report, the case includes allegations of a murder tied to Big U’s record label, where the victim—an artist signed to the label—was killed, and their body was abandoned off a Las Vegas freeway. Both Bricc Baby and Luce Cannon are currently held in federal custody as the investigation unfolds.

On March 20, 2025, Adam22 took to Instagram to respond to the rumors.

“People saying that 22 was the reason Bricc got caught up… Get outta here. You know what I do,”

he said, rejecting any suggestion of involvement. He described No Jumper as “the antidote to this bullshit,” highlighting its purpose as a constructive outlet for guests to share their experiences. He also noted that the charges against Bricc Baby appear to relate to events before their collaboration with the podcast, stating,

“I’m not seeing anything that says anything about stuff he’s done in the last two years… since he’s been working with us.”

Despite the gravity of the situation, Adam22 expressed personal support for Luce Cannon, saying,

“I got love for Luce,”

and promised to provide further updates as the story develops.

Adam22’s ties to Bricc Baby and Luce Cannon span at least two years, during which both have been regular guests on No Jumper, discussing hip-hop and street culture. Their involvement, however, has faced scrutiny. In June 2024, Luce Cannon alleged that Bricc Baby had been charging guests between $2,000 and $5,000 for podcast appearances without Adam22’s knowledge. This claim raised concerns among fans, many of whom discussed the issue online, questioning the platform’s integrity and urging better management. Even with these challenges, Adam22 has stood by both individuals, maintaining that No Jumper has positively impacted their lives.

The situation underscores the intricate relationship between hip-hop, media, and law enforcement, with No Jumper often at the center due to its raw, unfiltered storytelling. Adam22’s defense of his platform reflects his determination to uphold its credibility, even as some guests encounter serious legal battles. He has committed to keeping his audience informed, likely through future episodes or social media posts. A comprehensive report is available IN HYPEFRESH for those seeking more details on the federal operation and related charges.
