Choosing the element of surprise, Against The Current is back on the scene with not just one, but two new releases after what’s been more than a two year hiatus. With the surprise release of ” Almost Forgot” and “Strangers Again,” members of the group, Chrissy Constanza, Dan Gow, and Will Ferri are ready to pick up where they left off.
After their debut album In Our Bones’s immense success, the trio are planning to follow up the success with big, big plans! Already having garnered a loyal fan following, Against The Current is taking their pop, rock and indie sounds on a worldwide tour. With stops in Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, France, and stops here in the United States it appears that the group is hellbent on proving that the reputation of being an “original force” will not die in vein.
Minus the absence of any new music for the past two years, ATC has been on a pretty good track since their founding in 2011. Together the group has earned over 1.8 million YouTube subscribers and over 289 million individual views on clips like “Gravity.”
They’ve even shared international stages with other popular bands like Good Charlotte and All Time Low. So keep an eye out for more music, and possibly a follow-up project to their 2016 album, which is said to be released towards the end of this year.
