An Investor Claims Glorilla Pocketed Over $100,000 Without Finishing the Job

Atlanta-based investor Aristotle Varner Jr. has accused rising rap star GloRilla of pocketing over $100,000 meant for her without delivering up to the expected level. Varner Jr., who was speaking on behalf of his company, Aristotle Investments, claimed that payments had been effected to GloRilla for executing a series of promotional activities to which she failed to deliver satisfactorily.

“The contract says she was supposed to do a collaboration post on Instagram, a meet and greet in person, and a 30-minute interview with my wife, Asia Varner,”

Varner Jr. said. Sure enough, the rapper made the Instagram post, but Varner Jr. maintains she reneged on both the meet and greet and the interview.

The dispute, which has roots going back to March 2023, has now spilled over into court. Varner Jr. says the turn of events is now disheartening.

“It’s been extremely disappointing and frustrating to deal with this,”

    Varner Jr. said.

“We entered into this agreement in good faith, and it’s unfortunate that it has come to this.”

GloRilla’s camp is also mute as of press time about the accusations from Varner Jr. This is remarkable given that GloRilla previously scammed in 2022. She took to Facebook back then to clear the issue up with the accusers who had made her acquaintances look like scammers by working on prints for them:

“I was aware that someone had been posing as a team member and unfortunately scamming my fans and supporters.”

This old incident may bring forward an explanation for the recent silence, as she might currently be afraid of making public statements at such a time because of the ongoing legal proceedings.
