Bebe Rexha didn’t hold back her feelings towards rapper G-Eazy. The incident unfolded on Instagram, where Rexha called out G-Eazy, labeling him an “ungrateful loser.” This fiery comment came after G-Eazy’s team reached out to her about collaborating on new social media content related to their 2015 hit song, “Me, Myself & I,” which recently went viral again.
Bebe Rexha calls out G-Eazy after she was asked to shoot social media content with him:
“you have my number. Why don’t you text me and ask me yourself you stuck up ungrateful loser. You’re lucky people are liking you again. Cause I could go in on all the sh*tty things you’ve… PIC.TWITTER.COM/XPZDRIJTS1

In a now-deleted Instagram story, Rexha shared a screenshot of a group chat where the request was made. She replied fiercely,
“G_eazy u got my number. Why don’t you hit me and see wassup, u selfish fake ass loser. You’re lucky people are liking you again. Cause I could go in on all the shitty things you did and how you treated me after giving you your only real hit. By the way the answer is no. Hope you are well.”
Rexha’s strong words, after all, not only revolved around denying working on social content together. She highlighted deeper issues about their past collaboration: not an ungratefulness of whatever success came from “Me, Myself & I,” or at least had shown adverse treatment to her after the song became a hit. The track itself, of course, was quite a milestone since it remains G-Eazy’s second highest-charting single on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at No. 73.
This spat is, however surprising for all fans following both artists. This was in 2018 when Rexha all assured they were still cool with G-Eazy. She even stuck up for him when rumors of a dispute emerged after his performance with Britney Spears at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards. Back then, Rexha explained that she didn’t know about the performance beforehand and felt blindsided. However, G-Eazy made up for it by introducing her to Spears, which seemed to mend their relationship then.
As of yet, G-Eazy has not reacted to the allegations by Rexha on his social media handles. What people are left to deal with is their curiosity on his side of the story. But in music, most of these public feuds will spiral to talk about inter-artist relationships and the industry’s pressures.
Other than “Me, Myself & I,” another collaboration of Rexha and G-Eazy is through the song “F.F.F.,” from her EP “All Your Fault Pt. 1.” However, with the latest overt public exchange, this will be a thing of the past now. She and G-Eazy probably won’t work together in the future. She further explained that the post was deleted because that it felt harmful and toxic. Still, the message was out there, which also served as reason enough that her experiences with G-Eazy were significant and tinged with importance.
This reminds us that personal and professional relationships in the musical field can become pretty complicated. Collaboration between artists can sometimes be a creative yet personal dynamic that may present itself in public. Bebe Rexha is now working on her music and being true to her artistic vision as the world watches G-Eazy; he’d better respond finally.
