In celebration of Hip Hop’s 50th anniversary, Warner Music has released a new Instagram lens that allows fans to remix a classic track from The Notorious B.I.G. The lens, created in collaboration with tech company Minibeats, features a DJ feature that allows fans to rewind and speed up Biggie’s “Respect” off his seminal debut Ready To Die. The filter is the first of three Warner has planned in tandem with Hip Hop’s 50th anniversary this year.
To use the lens, simply open Instagram and search for “Biggie Instagram Lens.” Then, tap the “Try It” button and point your camera at your face. The lens will automatically detect your face and apply the effect. You can then use the DJ feature to remix the track however you like.
