Billy Ray Cyrus has filed for divorce from his wife, Firerose, just seven months after their marriage. The 62-year-old singer cited “irreconcilable differences” and “inappropriate marital conduct” in the divorce papers filed in a Tennessee court on May 22, 2024. This marks the end of what seemed to be a whirlwind romance that began long before they tied the knot in October 2023.

Billy Ray Cyrus, the country singer with his hit song, “Achy Breaky Heart,” had married Firerose in secret-her real name is Johanna Rose Hodges. But even despite the love and visible cheer for each other on social media platforms, this marriage was always going to end.
