You Can Now Enjoy Whiskey In Your Coffee

    0

If you simply love whiskey and wish you could drink it morning, noon and night without being judged for boozing like a raging alcoholic, boy, have we got the thing for you.
You Can Now Enjoy Whiskey In Your
Behold Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey Coffee – a delicious booze-fueled beverage made of “premium 100 percent Arabica coffee, roasted medium and infused with Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey.” Hell yeah, my dude. That’s what I’m talkin’ about.

Sadly, this doesn’t mean your coffee is going to get you drunk, because this whiskey-infused coffee is non-alcoholic. Damn, sorry. But no matter, you can just spike your coffee with actual whiskey. Boom. Problem solved.

In case you’re feeling a little iffy on buying coffee from a distillery, you can put those feelings of skepticism to rest, because the coffee was created in collaboration with World of Coffee, a custom specialty coffee roaster. So yeah, I guess this is a step up from Starbucks.

“We use the best tasting and highest quality coffees in the world and now add to that the authentic taste and aroma of Jack Daniel’s,” said president and owner of World of Coffee, Charlie Newman, in the press release.

Well, I don’t know about you, but that sounds like a winning cup of coffee to me. I’m down to drink a cup or four of that wakey juice anytime, anywhere.

You can get an 8.8 ounce collectible tin of the whickey-licious coffee for $21.95, or a 1.5 ounce baggie for $6.95 at Lynchburg Hardware & General Store in Tennessee if you happen to be in the area, or you can get it right here at the Jack Daniel’s online store.

I would say to enjoy responsibly, but it’s non-alcoholic coffee, so by all means, go nuts. Drink it all, and let the heart rate-increasing goodness take you places.

Weed vs Coffee: Which One is Better?

    0

Sometimes, it’s hard to do the simplest of actions, like staying awake or relaxing. Some people just power through it and do their best to function. Other people use substances to help themselves make through the day. Likely, the most popular thing people use to keep themselves going through the day is coffee. Coffee has been the drink of choice for working-class people for decades. Though, with the slow decriminalization and legalization of marijuana, weed is starting to become just as popular as coffee. There aren’t as many people walking down the street with a joint as a cup of coffee. However, marijuana usage is much less taboo now and people are able to smoke more freely. So, which one is better for helping you throughout your day?

According to an article by health-line, coffee acts as to stimulate to your brain, given that it is a caffeinated drink. The surge of caffeine from a cup of coffee can stimulate your nervous system. As a result of this, it can make you more alert and awake. This is why coffee is such a popular choice for people who work early in the morning.

However, the burst of energy that coffee can give also has some negative effect as well. One of them is the crash. The stimulation that coffee gives your nervous system will not last the entire day. It may only last a few hours. Once, it is gone, you’ll be just as exhausted as you were in the morning, maybe even more. The jolt that coffee gives you can also cause headaches and irrationality. So, while you may be less drowsy, it may harder for you to concentrate throughout the day.

Weed has its ups and downs too. According to a study by the business insider, weed can relax your body. Like coffee, we interact with your central nervous system. The difference is that weed relaxes the receptors in the nervous systems, which sends messages to the brain that calm the body down. The results are a soothing sensation throughout the body and pain relief. Weed, however, does have some negative effects. By stimulating the nervous system and relaxing the body, it can make you sleepy and tired. This might be a benefit if you have sleeping issues. However, at work in the middle of the day, it will likely be a problem.

So, which one is better for making it through the day? Well, it depends on what you need. Coffee is better at keeping you awake. Weed is better at relaxing you. Both substances can help you through your day if you know how to use them right.

Here Are The 5 Most Expensive Coffee Blends In The World

    0

Coffee is probably considered one of the most comforting drinks on the planet outside of beer, alcohol, and tea. It is popular amongst people of all ages, especially those who carve energy! Today, coffee has many different varieties, in terms of quality, flavor, and taste. However, the list does not stop there. Coffee can also be defined by the price you pay. So, in celebration of National Coffee Day, we are counting down the most expensive coffee in the world!
    BLACK IVORY COFFEE
1- BLACK IVORY COFFEE ($500 PER POUND)

Black Ivory coffee is made of feces! Let’s start there. The beans are fed to the elephant and they are chosen from the boat. This is how it works. The stomach acid of the elephant breaks down the protein of the beans, eliminating the bitter and strong taste of coffee. With notes of chocolate, malt spice and a hint of grass, Black Ivory coffee is apparently the best in the world for its distinct flavoring and methodology for ecological responsibility. Proclaimed at the world’s rarest coffee, Black Ivory is only sold primarily to select five-star hotels. But no worries, visit here if you ever want to pay $50 per cup.

    FINCA EL INJERTO COFFEE

2- FINCA EL INJERTO COFFEE ($500 PER POUND)

The beans for Finca El Injerto are the richest and smallest beans in the world. The beans are distinguishable by their coffee cherry exterior. But the Finca El Injerto is mainly recognizable for the immense process that goes into the nursery, harvesting, and processing of the coffee beans. In order to improve the quality of the grains, they are cleaned by a single washing channel and are broken twice.  And for $50 a cup, you can enjoy some of the world’s most distinct coffee.

    HACIENDA LA ESMERALDA

3- HACIENDA LA ESMERALDA ($350 PER POUND)

Hailing from the upper part of Panama, the beans used by Hacienda La Esmeralda are delicious and rich in flavor according to many sources. The magic can be found in growing the best varieties in ideal microclimates. Due to its unique rich flavor, Hacienda La Esmeralda’s coffee has won several awards around the world.

     KOPI LUWAK

4- KOPI LUWAK ($160 PER POUND)

Kopi Luwak is one of the most interesting coffees in the world. The main factor of its high price is the uncommon method of production. It has been produced from the coffee beans which have been digested by a certain Indonesian cat-like animal. The short supply, in comparison with the high demand, the different taste and the uncommon production methods define the value of kopi luwak – the most expensive coffee in the world.  The Kopi Luwak price per cup in a regular coffee ship will cost around $35 to $100.

    FLAT-ICED-COFFEE

5- SAINT HELENA COFFEE ($79 PER POUND)

The Saint Helena coffee has a very fragrant and light caramel flavor. While most farmers use fertilizer for manure, coffee growers in Santa Elana prefer the use of poultry manure to createt a distinguished and elegant flavor.

So there you have it! If you were thinking of drinking something different for this National Coffee Day, check out the list above and happy drinking!

In other culture news, here’s why drinking coffee can lead to better erections.

UK Rapper Faith Child Drops ‘That Was Then’ Video

    0

MOBO Award winning South London rapper FAITH CHILD is back with the music video for his exciting new single titled ‘That Was Then’, as premiered via Link Up TV. Taken from his forthcoming third studio album, this new single comes on the back of an extensive 18-month world tour, spanning over 12 countries and four continents, following the success of his 2015 sophomore album Airborne, which debuted in the top 5 of the UK Christian and Gospel album chart.

Produced by Alex E, who has previously worked with Tinchy Stryder and is a frequent collaborator with super producer and DJ Blinkie, ‘That Was Then’ is a bass-heavy electronic rap track, inspired by Faith Child’s Croydon hometown and the fast-paced buzz of the London borough, over which the British Nigerian native pays homage to the ‘ends’ that raised him, upholds his Christian faith, and celebrates the journey from “where we used to be, to where we are now”.

For the ‘That Was Then’ video, Faith Child has linked up with acclaimed London video director Chas Appeti, whose previous directorial credits include working with Krept & Konan, Giggs, and Lethal Bizzle, among others, to delivery a gritty high octane visual element, which not only brings the record further to life, but also captures the community essence of London living, from kids playing on the block, to the customary congregation at Morley’s after school, to water gun fights at the park.

Speaking about the inspiration behind ‘That Was Then’ and its visuals, Faith Child says, “it’s always a joy to be able to encourage young people with the fact that we all make mistakes, but we can learn from them, do better and move on with life – that was then and this is now, so let’s make the best of the opportunities in front of us. As for the video, it was only right I shot it in Croydon, it has nostalgic elements from my childhood that anyone raised in London will identify with”.

    Jack Da Union – “Runway”

    0

Jack Da Union teams up with one of the UK’s hottest producers Ayo Beatz for latest single ‘Runway’.

Piano led loops and choral chants build up to a scattering bass as Jack Da Union rides out across the beat working in to an earworm of a hook. Teaming up with Ayo Beatz for the second single in a row is a nod to the creative cohesion that the two quite clearly generate.

Initially making his entry to the music scene a number of years ago via foundational hubs such as Channel U and AKA, the last year has seen Jack Da Union’s profile grow significantly. Tracks such as Receipts and Lock Down have been the real game changers and put his name firmly on the map with music consumers, thanks to his honest lyricism, eloquence and quality visuals.

With quite the musical legacy to his name, Jack Da Union is able to boast a tour with Wu Tang, shows alongside UK legends including Skinnyman and Jammer, and Rick Ross as a follower on his social media. He has unsurprisingly gained attention and support across a multitude of radio and online outlets and as his profile continues to grow, is set to gain even further mileage.

Preparing to takeoff to new levels, Jack Da Union releases new single ‘Runway’.

AVIATOR Releases “Harassment / Coming Out”

    0

AVIATOR takes on a heavy subject with the sophistication of a tried-and-true veteran on his new track “Harassment / Coming Out,” which is both a clubbing bomb and an artistic take on a controversial topic. Featuring a growling synths and a driving four-by-four bassline that carries throughout the track, “Harassment / Coming Out” conjures images of dark dancefloors and black leather, the music charging the air with an almost sensual frenzy through the haze of cigarette smoke. AVIATOR throws a curveball when the track’s vocal snippets begin to intersperse with its sinister melodies, featuring glaring testimonies of sexual assault scandals that have been a primary source of media attention over the last few years. “This is only the beginning,” one sample warns, before the bass takes over. Though his opinion isn’t evident throughout the track, AVIATOR has hinted that a music video for the track features actors from Moscow‘s BDSM community. If you’re curiosity isn’t piqued from listening to “Harassment / Coming Out” alone, stay tuned for the music video to delve further into the labyrinth of AVIATOR‘s mind.

When faced with life-changing events, some people turn to the belief that “everything happens for a reason.” AVIATOR is one of those people. The Russian artist never intended to be a musician – he was attending university in Moscow to become a doctor when he lost his eye in a car crash, forever changing his life’s course of events. While recovering, he was spending more and more time producing music and it eventually became evident that his future lay in music rather than medicine. When it was time for AVIATORto return to medical school, he chose to produce music instead. Now bearing his signature eye patch, he has set out to forge a new path with his dark, driving sound. If “Harassment / Coming Out” is any indication, this is far from the last we’ll be hearing from AVIATOR. Follow his socials to see what’s next from this promising indie artist.
