SLANDER & RIOT Release “You Don’t Even Know Me”

    0

Just a month after releasing their metal-dubstep fusion single “Kneel Before Me” with Asking Alexandriaand CrankdatSLANDER turns their sound on its head yet again with their new collaborative release “You Don’t Even Know Me.” SLANDER joined forces with up-and-coming Israeli duo RIOT for the vocal bass ballad, built upon cinematic melodies that plunge into a powerful drop with smooth, yet reverberating, basslines. “You Don’t Even Know Me” feels poignant and slightly melancholy as the production is complemented by emotive vocals, a touch that turns the track from potential dance floor hit to a cathartic club experience. SLANDER continues to refresh our ears and minds with their constantly transforming sound, and we have to say that this collab with RIOT is destined to be a timeless fan favorite. “You Don’t Even Know Me” is out now on Monstercat.

SLANDER has proven they are capable of so much more than a singular genre. The duo caught the attention of the industry and fans alike with their original productions and evolved sound, as recently evidenced on “Happy Now,” “Move Back” with WAVEDASH, and “Slow Motion” with Bret James. In addition to that, the LA-based duo teamed up with American Idol finalist Juliana Chahayed on their release “So Long.” SLANDER‘s ability to produce both bass-heavy headbangers and emotionally stirring melodies – not to mention their charismatic stage presence – distinguishes them as talented, multifaceted producers. RIOTmay be young relative to their field, but they’ve already proved their potential with reaching Beatport’s #1in the dubstep, hip-hop and glitch charts 6 times. They’ve played with renowned DJs and producers such as Infected MushroomBorgoreAfrojackNicky RomeroCarnage and more, and recently curated their own festival brand, Riot Festival. Keep an eye out as these two talented duos continue to blaze their own trails into stardom.

Does The iPhone XS & XS Max Have Poor Reception?

    0

A few first consumers who got their iPhone XS and iPhone XS MAx have been reporting poor Wi-Fi and cellular reception. When compared to older iPhones, it seems as though the functionality is just not there. But, it appears to be a widespread issue that can be found by a user.

Although the iPhone XS boasts and advertises faster data speeds, it seems as though the issue still persists. This has caused some to speculate there are hardware problems that are interfering with the product’s functionality. This is similar to the antenna scandal during the era of the iPhone 4. Although Apple has yet to make a statement regarding the issue, a possible software update should do the trick.

    Coca-Cola Announces Cannabis-Infused Drinks

    0

Coca-Cola is looking to cash in on the weed industry. With the use of marijuana becoming legal in more areas across the globe, companies are looking to capitalize and profit. According to Canada’s BNN Bloomberg, Coco-Cola is currently looking to create marijuana-infused beverages with cannabis producer Aurora Cannabis.

According to sources, Coke and Aurora are planning to develop health drinks designed to ease inflammation, pain, and cramping.

Along with many others in the beverage industry, we are closely watching the growth of non-psychoactive CBD as an ingredient in functional wellness beverages around the world,” Coca-Cola said in a statement.

Coca-Cola also went on to state that “no decisions have been made at this time.” Further, they insisted that they would not provide any additional comments.

    Coca-Cola Announces Cannabis (2)

And it’s no surprise that Aurora took a similar approach. However, they did state that, “Aurora has expressed specific interest in the infused beverage space, and we intend to enter that market.”

While the U.S. continues to see states legalize cannabis use, Canada — where Aurora is based — is gearing up to fully legalize recreational marijuana use next month. Such a collaboration between a major beverage manufacturer like Coca-Cola and cannabis producer Aurora Cannabis would no doubt be huge for the industry.

Nike Soars to $6 Billion After Kaepernick Ad

    1

Colin Kaepernick can finally rest easy! Amidst the negativity surrounding Colin Kaepernick’s partnership with Nike, it’s stock has risen to an all-time high. Following an early 3% dip in the stock prices, an approximate $4 billion USD loss, all has been resolved! Though controversy ignited quickly, a wave of support has followed, immediately boosting the sportswear giant’s stocks.

    Nike Soars to S6 Billion

Since revealing the ads in early September, Nike’s market value ascended to $6 billion USD. Kaepernick’s campaign is responsible for increasing Nike’s 2018 share values by nearly 5%, yielding a total bump in the price of 36%  since 2017. For the 30th anniversary of its original “Just Do It” campaign, Nike tapped other athletes, like Serena Williams, but it looks as though Kaepernick’s co-sign has been the most impactful. And to top it all off, Kaepernick’s “I’m With Kap” jerseys sold out almost immediately after pre-sale!
