The Joe Budden Commentary Continues With Eminem..

    0

Joe Budden has officially become the voice of 2018.

Since his departure from Complex “Everyday Struggle” Budden has seen better days. The Jersey native has always had a target on his back because of his brutally honest feedback on artist.

Earlier this year it was announced that the Jersey native would have a segment on Spotify circled around his popular commentary on music. In addition, Joe Budden landed a deal with Revolt to host a show called “State Of  The Culture” along with Scotty Beam and Remy Ma.

Joe has gained the trust of hip-hop fans with his unique views through his “The Joe Budden Podcast”. Outside of his beef with Drake, Budden has had a great run so far in 2018. That is until the commentary shifted over to Detroit’s own lyrical assassin known as Eminem.

The straight shot at Eminem came as a surprise and picked up traction quick. Joe believing that Eminem has not provided his best work over the last decade. What makes this more interesting is that Joe is apart of a group signed to Eminem called “Slaughter House”. Disrespecting your boss is something that many people dream of on a global scale.

Joe has lived out that dream, but at what cost? Since Joe Budden’s comments, Eminem has addressed the issue about Joe on his latest album called “Kamikaze”. To further address the issue, Eminem spoke briefly about where his relationship with Budden is during a recent interview with Sway. The entire interview is set to release next week, with many hip-hop fans waiting to get Eminem’s full take on Joey.

What are your takes of Joe Budden? Can he really spare with the lyrical God known as Shady? Drop your comments below

Frank Ocean Wants Out of ‘Astroworld’

    0

Frank Ocean is reportedly taking legal action against Travis Scott over his hit album Astroworld. Scott’s third album was released last month and hit Number One in the US Charts. Hailed as a great body of work, the project even beat out Nicki Minaj.

This is the sound of a musician who has worked to forge an entire world, an empire, around himself – we can peer in, but from afar, guessing at his motives and life behind the velvet rope. – NME

Frank Ocean contributed on the track “Carousel”, in which he delivers a killer chorus and third verse. According to TMX, his vocals had Auto-Tune and other effects added to them and Frank was unaware. Now, Frank Ocean would like his vocals removed from the track.

Sources have confirmed that Frank Ocean’s lawyers sent Scott a cease-and-desist letter in an effort demanding he takes Ocean off the track. As of now, the rapper reportedly has no plans to do as requested.

Dizzle AP drops brand new mixtape ’11’

    0

“Do you know who I really wanna talk about? DizzleAP. You get Road Rap like 67 and Section Boyz – well DizzleAP sounds like that but then has a voice of a grime emcee” says Julie Adenuga in her Beats 1 Radio interview with Boy Better Know’s Jammer, which has subsequently been ripped to make the intro of DizzleAP’s brand new mixtape, ’11’ that is released today.

Adhering to an un-constrained, non-confirmative sound, he has constructed a monumental eleven track project, compelling from start to finish as he spars with varying tempos, delivery styles and genre influence as well as a number of impressive features that mirror his undefinable sound. A collision of flows, he is joined by North London heavy hitter Benny Banks on ‘Grandad’ and Ganzy is on board for the ringtone sampled track ‘Trap Phone Bless’. Following on from his previous collaboration on grime legend Jammer’s ‘Are You Dumb Vol 5’ mixtape for the track ‘Wave and Jagga’, the pair went on to perform for Tim Westwoods Crib Sessions and Annie Macs closing party and they now collaborate once again for lead single on ’11’, ‘Flexin’.

Consisting of a broad range of styles from the trap-heavy ‘Down n Out’, to the more melodic and rhythmic number ‘No New Friends’ and his quick-fire ‘M2M freestyle’, the UK sound has clearly influenced this project. Raised with a keen appetite for UK Grime and Hip Hop collectives and artists such as More Fire Crew, Heartless, Pay as you go, Wiley, Jammer and Giggs, DizzleAP pays homage to his roots through his music. Standout records such as ‘Unruly Flow’ are a clear example of this as he rattles out a juggernaut of flows over a hypnotic loop as DizzleAP projects his skill of delivery seeing his mesmerising bars intertwine with the rapid pace of the instrumental.

Having already made a significant impact in just a short period of time, DizzleAP is an emcee with eyes and ears focussing closely on him. Discover him for yourself with these 11 new records.

Fans Are Upset That ‘Venom’ Will Be Rated PG-13

    0

Some fans thought that Venom starring Tom Hardy would get the R-Rating prior to its release date. Sony has unveiled that the flick will not bear the adult rating, but rather something more family friendly. Fans are obviously not happy because the plot of the main villain is straight savage compared to other antagonists.

Tickets for Venom are now on sale, and in order for sales to begin, the movie’s official rating and runtime had to be revealed. Coming in at 1hour and 52 running mins, falling just a bit short of the two-hour mark. And to add more salt to the wound, Spider-Man will not be featured in the flick – at all.

Will you still go see Venom regardless of these major public upsets? Leave your comments in the comments below. And if you happened to miss the trailer check it out below.

Eminem Addresses Joe Budden and MGK With Sway

    1

Eminem recently sat down for an in-depth interview with Sway to discuss a range of topics. For the first part of the interview, Eminem focused solely on his new project Kamikaze. For part two, he finally addressed his beef with Joe Budden, Machine Gun Kelly and why Slaughterhouse is in limbo.

Throughout the interview, Eminem admits that he is no longer friends with Joe Budden due to harsh comments surrounding Revival.

“Me and Joe Budden aren’t, you know, we’re not friends like that. We didn’t go to the same fucking high school. You know what I’m saying? I get that part,” Em explains. “But when I’m out here, flying around to different places and doing interviews and trying to use my platform to pump up Slaughterhouse every chance I get, and you’re using your platform to try to trash me.”

Later in the interview, Eminem also addresses MGK and “Rap Devil,” the rebuttal.

“You know you go down a fucking wormhole of YouTube? So I see, ‘Machine Gun Kelly talks about Eminem’s daughter.’ So I’m like, ‘What the fuck?’ Then he starts doing a press run about Hailie,” he remembers. “I’m like, ‘What the fuck?’ Yo, my man better chill. So, that’s not why I dissed him. The reason I dissed him is actually a lot more petty than that.”
