According to just-filed court documents from Las Vegas prosecutors dated July 18, 2024, explosive allegations have now emerged, suggesting Sean “P Diddy” Combs paid $1 million for the assassination of legendary rapper Tupac Shakur. The revelation comes from statements given by Duane “Keefe D” Davis, arrested last year for his role in Tupac’s murder.
Then there are more than 75 mentions of Diddy throughout court documents filed by Las Vegas prosecutors as Puffy, Puff Daddy, and his legal name of Sean Combs. As indicated in the court papers, there existed aggressive competition between Diddy’s Bad Boy Records and Tupac Death Row Records. It now provides a new insight into the possible motive behind the assassination.
Of course, in the middle of it all is Duane “Keefe D” Davis. His cooperation turned out to be most vital, as he revealed that Diddy had contracted him for Tupac’s murder. Keefe D worked undercover with the police to grab possible incriminating evidence against Diddy.Such cooperation was an invaluable part of the prosecutors’ case in possibly bringing renewed momentum into the stalled 12-year-old investigation into Tupac’s murder.
Despite these explosive allegations, Sean “P Diddy” Combs has not been charged with any such crime that puts a connection between him and Tupac’s murder. There is still a question of whether Diddy will be subpoenaed or indicted. His legal standing stays in limbo, with no definite actions against him as of now.
