Boosie Nearly Lost His Twitch Account for Driving Without a Seatbelt on Stream

Boosie Badazz, one of the famous rappers and Twitch streamers, has got himself into trouble over his driving with no seat belt while streaming live on the streaming site. He was warned against the act as it violated certain strict community guidelines that the game-based platform displays, such as, “Put Your Seatbelt On or Get BANNED!”

Boosie was driving without putting on a seatbelt during one of his recent Twitch live streams. The event instantly elicited an immediate response from the platform for enforcing Community Guidelines around safety. Twitch warned that repeated efforts might lead to a possible ban. This is part of the effort by Twitch to avoid gamble-like behaviors while being live on streams.

Boosie is a relatively new streamer to Twitch and he had some words about the rules of the site. He respected the warning but also expressed frustration over Twitch and its enforcement of guidelines on the artists on whether or not it’s necessary to take such actions against content creators who are just entertaining.

In fact, Twitch has had a number of streamer safety policies for a long time, regarding keeping safe while conducting active and sometimes dangerous activities. According to the platform, such reckless behaviors are against the Community Guidelines, including driving in distracted or unsafe ways.

This is not the first time Twitch has taken action against streamers because of reckless driving. Agent00 was banned in December 2024 for a similar infraction involving not wearing a seatbelt, and Bri and Katie Teresi were similarly punished after they were driving distractedly while streaming. Both of these point to how Twitch is serious about safety-both creators and viewers.

It has also raised debate within the Twitch community and the general community of streamers. People supported Twitch for its decision by adding that it’s all about road safety, which is key when it comes to responsible streaming. Others countered the platform, believing it has overregulated since personal responsibility in this regard would better be put on the discretion of the streamer himself than by the dictates of the platform.

I Almost Got Big Twitch Streamers Banned By Accident

The whole ordeal raised eyebrows, and the possibility of a ban for Boosie was a major cause for concern among many of his fans, with the artist working with one of the hottest streamers within the game, Kai Cenat, to increase his presence on the platform. An early-career ban would highly affect his momentum into the streaming world.

Twitch’s move reflects the growing trend for safety in most streaming services and has already enforced strict content policies. A situation like this reminds all streamers that actions can lead to serious consequences even in personal settings if the rules of the platform are violated.

While Boosie finally got away with it this time, this here is a warning for other creators. As live streaming continues to grow, platforms like Twitch are only going to continue hand-in-hand with clamping down on safety regulations, making sure dangerous behavior does not get normalized.
