Over the weekend, footage surfaced online showing rapper Sexyy Red involved in an airport altercation that led to her arrest. The brawl happened at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey over the weekend, with footage blowing up across social media platforms and news site posts mainly circulated over the weekend.
Sexyy Red, who had been scheduled to appear in WWE NXT Battleground, suddenly get herself into a brawl with the airport authority. In response, bodyguards for Sexyy Red confronted the security airport personnel; it escalated almost immediately into a fight.
The brawl features several Sexyy Red entourage members and the security people at the airport throwing punches. Sexyy Red is to be recognized through the bright red bonnet that she adorns. She, for instance, swings a pole in the fight but is not shown hitting anyone with it. After further tussling and arguing between the two sides, officials from the security break up the tussle.

Sexyy Red was among those detained and taken to jail early Saturday morning (June 8), with authorities citing disorderly conduct as the reason for her arrest. Others involved in the fight were booked on assault charges.
The alleged victims received medical treatment for minor injuries. Sexyy Red seemed to be in good spirits following the incident as she posted a video of herself on social media, saying:
“Good morning! I’ve just got out.”.
As for the possible consequences of such fights, they can be quite serious. In general, airport fights can lead to arrests and charges ranging from disorderly conduct to assault.
