Captain Marvels Carol Danvers is ready for another high flying space adventure. But this time in the present time.
Brie Larson is ready to dawn her…glowing Super Saiyan hair again, in Captain Marvel 2. However, things will be different for the sequel. Captain Marvel 2 will not come back with the same writers. Instead, it will feature the writer of Disney Plus’s upcoming original series WandaVision, Megan McDonnell. Initially, the first script was created by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck. But according to The Hollywood Reporter, that won’t be back for the sequel.

Also, Marvel is searching for a female director to take the wheels of Captain Marvel 2. The previous film was a box-office hit grossing over a billion dollars. While also becoming Marvel’s first female lead superhero movie. With Marvel being impressed with those numbers, you know a sequel has to be on the way.
The last time we saw Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers, she was at Tony Stark’s funeral in Avengers: Endgame and mentioned in Spider-man: Far From Home.
Thanks to the success of the first movie, another female lead movie is on the way. In May of 2020, Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow movie will be released. So far, everything is looking good for the ladies of Marvel. There is no telling who will be the next Female lead of the MCU ( Marvel Cinematic Universe), but my money is that it will be the other Marvel woman of the avengers.
