Cardi B Court Ordered Community Service After Strip Club Incident

Cardi B, the “WAP” hitmaker whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar, was ordered to complete 15 days of community service for a 2018 brawl at a Queens strip club. She was reportedly upset that two bartender sisters were sleeping with her husband, Offset.

The “Bodak Yellow” rapper is fulfilling her obligations, and judging by her latest fashion snap, she’s making a big statement with her choices. She’s glammed it up in a chic pink sweater and Tabi luxury split-toe boots.

    She’s Paying Her Dues

The “Up” rapper appeared in court Tuesday, where a judge ruled she has until March 1 to complete 15 hours of community service. Cardi B was originally assigned the service as part of a plea deal she copped in September, but has not completed a single hour yet.

She showed up in a figure-hugging white dress with an oversized fur coat, Louboutin heels and Christian Dior sunglasses. She also made a fashion statement with a sleek, copper wig and extra-long glamour nails.

She pleaded guilty last September to two misdemeanor counts, including assault and reckless endangerment, in a deal that allowed her to avoid a criminal trial and jail time. In exchange, she was given 15 days of community service, a three-year protection order and court fees.

    She’s Making a Fashion Statement

Cardi B has been in court several times this month to serve her 15 hours of community service imposed last year after she pled guilty to two misdemeanor assault charges stemming from her 2018 fight at a strip club. She recently tweeted that she was “on my way to serve some community service time..DONT COMMIT CRIMES!”

And the 30-year-old mom of two isn’t afraid to show her stylish side, posting several photos this week showing off her upscale fashion as she goes about the task at hand.

For example, on Tuesday (Feb 22), she tweeted a mirror selfie of herself rocking an upscale ensemble before she went to her court hearing. She wore a skintight black tank top, matching cutout leggings and white-painted Maison Margiela Tabi boots.

While some fans mocked her designer footwear, others couldn’t help but applaud her for putting in the work. It’s all part of being a successful and accomplished rapper, right?

    She’s Staying Away from Bartenders

Cardi B was court ordered to do community service as part of her plea deal for a 2018 incident at a strip club. She was accused of hurling bottles and hookah pipes at two bartenders, Jade and Baddie Gi. She also allegedly threw chairs at the women.

The rapper was given 15 days of community service last September in connection with the case, but she hasn’t completed it yet. That’s why she headed back to the courthouse on Tuesday.

She made a fashion statement at court — rocking a fur coat over a skintight dress and strutting around in Louboutin heels. She even hid her eyes behind Christian Dior sunglasses.

    She’s Getting a Second Chance

Cardi B, the Grammy Award-winning rapper, has been granted permission by a New York City judge to commence her 15 days of mandatory community service related to a 2018 assault incident at a strip club. She has until March 1 to complete it, the Queens District Attorney’s Office told Reuters.

Cardi, 30, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar, was indicted on charges of assault and reckless endangerment for hurling a hookah and champagne bottles at bartenders at Angels NYC. She reportedly suspected they had an affair with her husband, Offset.

She pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor assault charges last year and was given a plea deal that requires her to complete community service. “After my hearing, she stated, “Part of growing up and maturing is taking responsibility for your actions.”

She looked fashionable at her court appearance on Tuesday, wearing a fur coat over a skin-tight dress, strutting around in Louboutin heels, and hiding her eyes behind Christian Dior sunglasses. The judge granted her an extension to complete her community service until March 1, so there’s still time for her to make a fashion statement and fulfill her duties with a smile on her face.
