Chance The Rapper has come a long way since he first gained notoriety on Kehlani’s 2015 “The Way” video. The Chicago emcee featured on several artist’s tracks, such as Justin Bieber’s “Confident” and DJ Khaled’s “No Brainer.” Not to mention, the rapper has worked on some major projects. His most interesting body of work, the reboot of the Christmas classic “Home Alone.” Instead of using the old title, the rapper decided to rename the remake “Home Hood” to add a more realistic touch to the classic.

When it comes to making smart moves, Chance The Rapper certainly knows how to make impressive business decisions. The 28-year-old has gone from a rapper, songwriter, actor and a black activist. Additionally, he’s won several musical accolades, including three Grammys. He’s one of the most influential rappers of our time. Of course, holding influence over the world makes for good business. Now the rapper has leveled-up again. Recently, Chance The Rapper decided to remake movie magic with film classics like “Home Alone.” However, the Chicago native wants to rename the film in his own vision, the “Hood Alone.”
Chance The Rapper Renames “Home Alone” To “Hood Alone”
Chance The Rapper certainly has made a name for himself in Hollywood. He’s multi-talented and always searching for the next big win. During a recent interview with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, the emcee revealed his plans to reboot the 1990’s classic “Home Alone.” Additionally, the rapper shared his idea for a remake, saying, “I have this secret project in the works… I’m pitching a Home Alone reboot. What if we had a version set in the hood? We could call it Hood Alone. It would be a more realistic story about what happens when intruders target the wrong house.” Already sounds like a good reboot in the making. Unfortunately, there’s no word yet who shall star in the reboot or the release date for the film. Currently, it’s still in the early stages of production. At least, we can look forward to the remake in the end.
