NBC’s “The Voice” has really taken off without a hitch this year. Of course the replacement of Nick Jonas may have hurt some fans of the show. Still, plenty of people have been raving over Ariana Grande taking over his place. Furthermore, Grande’s team has stream-rolled Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Blake Shelton’s teams quite effortlessly. By being the biggest pop star on the planet, of course she’s bound to rake up some serious votes. Making matters worse, John Legend’s wife Chrissy Teigen just proclaimed herself “Team Ari.”
Chrissy Teigen Admits She’s All For “Team Ari”
While we’re sure Chrissy Teigen loves her famous husband to the moon and back, she’s clearly “Team Ari.” Even Kelly Clarkson called out Teigen during an Oct. 25 episode of her show of the same name. Rather than denying the truth, Chrissy Teigen admitted that she’s casting in her votes for Grande’s team.
Moreover, the Lip Sync Battle co-host further explained that her support for Grande, in part, stems from her children. Turns out that her daughter Luna loves the mega pop star’s music. Not to mention, Teigen and Luna often singing along to Grande’s songs during car rides. Despite putting the blame on her children, it’s possible that Chrissy Teigen herself is a fan as well.
She Decides To Support Kelly Clarkson
At some point in the interview, Clarkson calls out Teigen again for not supporting the other teams.
“Why are you trying to assist Ariana Grande? Don’t you think we need assistance too? She has a massive billion followers!” the TV host jokingly inquired.
At first, Teigen thought about “throwing John a bone” but after his recent accolades, she decided against it. In an unlikely turn of events, Chrissy Teigen will make it a point to lend Clarkson a helping hand. At the end of the day, Chrissy Teigen loves the show and all the teams. Though, she secretly she likes “Team Ari” just a little bit more than the rest.
