Coco Jones Goes Live and Previewed New Songs on Instagram

Earlier this year, Nashville-bred R&B singer and actress Coco Jones was on a roll. She released her sensual “Caliber” single and followed that up with a hypnotic music video helmed by Teyana Taylor and Babyface, both of whom she’s collaborated with.

During an interview with For the Record, Jones shed some light on her latest ventures and gave us a glimpse of what’s to come. She revealed she juggles multiple careers and has an impressive list of collaborators, including Brandy, Bad Bunny, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Tems, and gospel artists like Cece Winans.

The biggest question is how Jones will make her mark in the industry. A plethora of opportunities have been on the table since she was young, but her path to the big time hasn’t always been clear.

For the most part, she’s been encouraged to chase her passions by her mother and father, both avid musicians. As a youngster, she started in the family business by recording demos that her mom would hand out to auditions.

She made her big break in 2011 when she landed a recurring role on Disney’s So Random! She’s since gone on to star in various blockbuster movies and television series.

Her newest project, Feel A Way, is a collection of 11 tracks that highlight her talents in all the right ways. It’s a worthy contender for the best R&B album of the year.
