Cristiano Ronaldo this morning broke the silence about the Manchester United situation while making a surprise media appearance. Recently, Ronaldo sat down with Piers Morgan and did an interview that led to a blow-up with Manchester United. In the interview, Ronaldo describes himself as “bullet-proof”. Throughout the interview, Ronaldo expressed his true feelings about the organization and its leadership and received backlash because of it.
Ronaldo discussed how Manchester United boss Erik Ten Hag has a lack of ambition and it’s difficult to respect him because of it. As a result, Man. United is exploring legal options in order to terminate Ronaldo’s contract, according to the Evening Standard. This is not ideal timing with Portugal’s World Cup campaign rapidly nearing. However, Portugal’s boss Fernando Santos expressed he believes this shouldn’t bring any negative effect on their chances.

“In my life, the best timing is always my timing. From your side it is easy to look at how we can choose timings. Sometimes you write truths, sometimes you write lies. I don’t have to think about what other people think. I speak when I want.
“The players know me really well for many years and know the type of person I am. It’s an ambitious group that is hungry and focused. So I’m sure (the interview) won’t shake the changing room’s concentration and focus.”
