    Daddy Yankee To Lead ‘New Year’s Rockin’ Eve’s’ From Puerto Rico

    Puerto Rico will become a part of the yearly special ‘Dick Clark’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2022′. Daddy Yankee alongside Roselyn Sanchez will collaborate for this special.

    The transmission will take place in the T-Mobile District in the vicinity of the Convention Center on Dec. 31.

    The island becomes the primal inauguration destination for the countdown for Spanish speaking public. Moreover, goes hand in hand with the celebration of 500 years since the founding of the capital of the island.

    Governor Pedro Pierluisi is thrilled to host Ryan Seacrest’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2022 on our island, highlighting Puerto Rico’s greatness and its people.

    Details for the Daddy Yankee’s full participation is still a bit obscure. On the other hand, Sanchez is set to be in charge of the hosting. For this event the Puerto Rican government gave an average of $3.6 million, coming from the American Rescue Plan (ARPA).

    “This celebration not only lets Puerto Ricans enjoy this significant historic event, but it also resonates with diverse communities worldwide. Our Island is prepared to welcome tourists and promote economic growth. We have plenty to offer as a destination, and New Year’s Rockin’ Eve will showcase Puerto Rico’s abundant attractions.”

    Dick Clark’s Rockin New Year’s Eve is one of the main programs for the New Year’s celebration. Last year it dominated transmissions against competitors by 7.0 million spectators with 63% adults from 18 to 49 years, according to a press release.

    Showcasing The Island

    The event itself will broadcast the diversity, culture, and art the island of Puerto Rico has to offer. Furthermore, it will have some 18 million viewers across the U.S.

    “We are very excited about this event where we will be presenting the best of our talent and our people. Roselyn Sánchez and Daddy Yankee are ambassadors of Puerto Rican art and music and having them at home is a privilege. Without a doubt, it will be a historic night for everyone on the island and the viewers because 2022 begins in Puerto Rico,” said Mariela Vallines, Director of the Convention District.
