Dame Dash Fires Back at 50 Cent: Who Really Owns the Best TV Network App?

Hip-hop moguls Dame Dash and 50 Cent took another turn: in response to jabs from 50 Cent over his financial struggles, Dash proposed a “CEO war” to settle the differences.

It heated up again when 50 Cent decided to make fun of Dash about his finances during his time on the “Million Dollaz Worth of Game” podcast. Right on cue, Dash called out 50 Cent in a well-calculated response, goading him into facing off between them both business-wise.

Dash is a co-owner of America Nu, an independent film network, while he is a co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records. In turn, 50 Cent has enjoyed success behind the camera courtesy of his G-Unit Films production company, which has bankrolled several top-rated television series, such as “Power.”

He had called to put the sibling rivalry to rest once and for all. He was challenging his brother to a competition between their two respective television networks: original movies against each other, each on their own air, and let the people decide which was best. Dash went so far as to name his entry: the forthcoming film “The Prince of Detroit.”

If that wasn’t enough to chafe TV sets, Dash sweetened the stakes by reminding 50 Cent of his one-third stake in Roc-A-Fella Records and even offered to sell it, bringing a challenge to him to put his money where his mouth is into investing in the legacy label.

The beef between Dash and 50 Cent started in the early 2000s, from verbal to business battles. What’s going on between them these days promises to be highly public, with the two business ventures at the lead.
